New Hope for Aids.org Explainer Video
(Make sure to watch in HD for best effect)
Samaritan's Pharmaceutical's is launching a fundraising campaign to help crowdsource the funding for Phase 3 FDA trials on a drug that has the potential to help cure HIV. They needed a short video that simply and visually explained the way the drug worked so that all viewers would have a basic grasp of the science.
Once I had the script in hand, I realized that this video would give me an opportunity to branch out beyond merely computer-designing so I grabbed my wife and we headed out to a local hobby store, where we bought materials and created and painted all the models you see by hand. I then photographed every prop, and animated them in After Effects to create the final look.
If you're interested in donating to help fund the trials of this drug, here's the Fundly page, or you can check out their main site for more information.
